Our core team of staff and teachers are the heart of Sacred Space Yoga. In addition to our incredible teachers, our staff is equally dedicated to taking care of you the moment you walk through our doors.

A born dancer, Elena first truly discovered yoga at Sacred Space and has found her second love in her practice. It is the amazing balance that each of the teachers bring to their practice that made this the place for her. When she's not rehearsing or performing she is so grateful to be here, where she can share in the love and joy of yoga with all the wonderful yogis who come through the doors. Mahalo!

Nina found her yoga home when she started practicing at Sacred Space, and soon after, she began teaching and working at the front desk. Seeing the dedicated yogis at Sacred Space on a weekly basis brings such joy and inspiration to her own practice, teaching, and life. Her favorite part of working at the front desk is seeing the relaxed, glowing, and humbled faces of students after class, and hearing about their experiences on and off the mat. Nina loves the SSY community, as it has brought so many amazing people into her life. She could talk yoga all day long, so stop by and chat when you come in to practice!

Emily Star first came to yoga as a teenager and has joyfully returned again and again. Her playful classes feature dynamic postures that can be made accessible to all participants, alignment-focused cues and adjustments, and intelligent sequences that promote a strong, centered, and nimble practice.Emily is certified at the 200-hour level in the Vinyasa tradition.

A free spirit and truth seeker, Monica has enthusiastically integrated our Vinyasa Yoga into her daily spiritual practice. It was love at first sight for her and Sacred Space, she started in January 2011 and has been coming non-stop ever since! She loves being with her tribe of caring, passionate yogis and is happy to be on the customer service team so that she can share her first hand knowledge about the amazing variety of instructors and classes. As a Spiritual Psychology major, her favorite thing is to deeply connect with people and exchange ideas and "Savasana-inspired" realizations!
