Alicia is a certified Hatha Yoga Instructor. She began her practice practicing based upon Baron Baptiste's teachings and has found connection with Vinyasa Flow based style. Alicia attended her teacher training in an intensive environment at Yandara Yoga Institute. She began teaching in Baltimore City where she began her practice. As a college tennis player, Alicia began practicing yoga as an aid for the physical body. She has enjoyed connecting to the spiritual aspect of the practice and has discovered that the joy of yoga is to use the breath and mindfulness to learn and grow. She reminds herself as well as her students that the body will always change, but the breath remains constant. Alicia's intention as a teacher is to help open others to explore their depths and reach their full potential.
