Our Yoga
For over 5,000 years, the ancient tradition of Yoga has been passed on from teacher to student. At Sacred Space, we carry on this tradition by supporting teachers and students from all disciplines of yoga with openness, acceptance, and non-judgment.
Yoga is so many things and means something different for every individual. Yoga can be a tool to improve health and get fit, a ritual of relaxation and stress-relief, a path towards spiritual evolution, or a form of Highest service. We recognize that we all start and continue a yoga practice for different reasons. This is why we are continuously improving our offerings so that we may better serve the needs of a diverse student population, as well as support the talents of our teachers.
You will find classes that accommodate all practitioners-from beginners, to seasoned beginners to long-time students of yoga. Most of our teachers are trained in multiple styles of yoga, which they bring into their classroom. While we are primarily a Vinyasa Flow studio, you will experience many different styles within a class -- Anusara, Kundalini, Forrest Yoga, Iyengar, Ashtanga. Our teachers bring their years of practice and training to each class, making it possible for you to expand your repertoire of knowledge. We take pride in our teachers' diverse backgrounds because we believe this provides a yoga experience that is comprehensive, fresh, inspiring and all-embracing.
